Tepicine DMCA and Copyright Policy

At Tepicine, we have tremendous respect for the intellectual property rights of creators, studios, producers and rights holders. We are aware that every film, every TV show, live sports broadcast and regional content item on our platform is the product of a huge amount of hard work and creativity.

This DMCA Policy describes our commitment to act in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and India's Copyright Act, 1957, as well as the procedure for handling alleged copyright infringement on Tepicine (the Application is available for Indian users on Android, iOS, PC, Firestick & smart TV devices).

1. Copyright Compliance & Infringement Response

2. Repeat Infringer Policy

We also have strict rules in place for users who persist in violating platform guidelines:

First offense: written warning

Second offense: one‑month suspension of account use

Third offense: permanent ban

We do not tolerate any violation of copyright, and we expect our users to respect the rights of artists — regardless of whether the work is a worldwide hit or a local indie sensation.

(iv) Valid contact information including address and telephone number;

(v) Good‑faith statement that applicable law does not authorize use of such material;

(vi) Statement, under penalty of perjury, confirming all information in the notification is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

4. Counter‑Notification Process

We offer a DMCA‑compliant mechanism for users to submit a counter‑notification if they believe their content was removed or disabled by mistake.

You may submit a counter‑notification if:

You believe the content constitutes fair use (under Indian and international copyright law), OR

You have a legal right to share the content

Your counter‑notification must include your contact details and a statement of your good‑faith belief that the removal was in error.

We will promptly investigate your claim. If we determine your claim is valid, we will restore the content unless the copyright owner initiates legal action within the required time period.
